Piano Lessons

We offer weekly, in-home lessons as travelling teachers. (No need to load up the kids in the van to go to lessons!) Lessons are year round, Monday through Friday, for ages 5and up. School year lessons are from the first week in September through the last week of May. Summer lessons are through June, July and August.

Piano lessons include study in multiple areas: Piano Performance, Theory, Technique, Scales, Chords & Arpeggios, Sacred Music, Duets, and Music History. During lessons we will primarily study through the Bastien Piano Basics Curriculum and Bastien New Traditions Piano Method. (Pictures below) We teach the methods for Young Beginners, (ages 5-7), Piano Basics (ages 7-12), and Piano for Adults (ages 12 and up). Supplemental instruction will be provided through a variety of resources.

Composition Lessons

In addition to our studio's new group classes, Daniel will also be offering private instruction in composition. He will be available to teach in his studio or in your own home- whatever suits you!

Weekly or bi-monthly lessons for ages 10 and up are offered throughout the school year from September to May. Piano experience required: At least intermediate level or 2 years of study with EMS. Composition lessons use many tools learned in piano lessons (Theory, Scales, Chords) and expand into the creative elements of these musical concepts.

Composition Lessons include study in multiple areas: Written Notation, Theory, Ear Training, Music History, and Music Literature. Tailored instruction for each individual student ensures a unique experience based on creative interests and goals.

Recitals and More

We have three recitals every year: Christmas, Spring, and Summer, where the students will have the opportunity to share their music with family and friends. To help everything run smoothly and efficiently, our studio follows an important set of standards and expectations, as detailed in the document linked below, which contains information on policies and rates. If you are interested in studying with us, please make sure to read it thoroughly.
