Serving the south King County area of Washington since 2012,

Emme Music Studio's travelling teachers provide in-home, private lessons.

Ana Belen and Daniel Emme are music lovers, pianists, and new parents to their son, Derek. They will be co-leading EMS this year, with Daniel coming on as a full time piano teacher, composition teacher, and group class instructor. Ana Belen will continue to teach as much as she can, considering her new responsibilities as a mom! With each teacher offering specific programs, EMS has opportunities for students at all skill levels!

Daniel is excited to begin teaching full time with Emme Music Studio this fall! He will primarily be offering private piano lessons and leading group classes, and looks forward to introducing private composition lessons. As a young teen, Daniel developed an avid interest in playing piano and composing his own music. Since then he has learned countless other instruments, begun his own music production company, and fallen in love with passing on the joy of music to all he can.

Daniel has over seven years of experience as a professional pianist; he has played for church services, weddings, choir concerts, jazz gigs, and in small ensembles. He was a teaching assistant to the music theory professor of his college, and he even substitute taught Music Theory I-III during his senior year. Since graduating with his Bachelor of Music degree, he has been teaching high school students to play music in a band format, instructing them in piano, guitar, bass, drum set, percussion, keyboard, and vocals.

Ana Belen has a specific heart for passing on the love of music. She enjoys working with students in an interactive way that creates a fun environment for building happy memories and experiences surrounding music. Her love of teaching extends to  helping aspiring piano teachers build the skills necessary for taking on students of their own.

Ana Belen has over seven years of piano teaching experience, and loves her job more each year! She completed twelve years of piano studies, including receiving certificates in Piano Performance and Pedagogy upon completion of a two year program in those fields. She has received private education from prestigious pianists and professors such as Steinway artist Dr. Yelena Balabanova, WWU professor Dr. Jeffery Gilliam, and PLU Chair of Piano Studies Dr. Oksana Ezhokina.

She continues pursuing music education today as an active member of the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) and the Washington State Music Teachers Association (WSMTA)
